1. How can we fight human trafficking in our country?

    Informing potential victims of this issue is the key, if we all learn more we can avoid being deceived and the victims of trafficking will decrease. 

    Be more aware of possible victims such as women, girls and adolescents. Increase stable jobs so that victims do not find suspicious job options in other countries, since the information cannot be true. Human trafficking in Ecuador carries a minimum sentence of 13 years and maximum of 40 years, for multiple offences.

2. What is the importance of democracy in today's society?

    Democracy is not only a system of government, it is also a way of living in community, reinforcing certain values such as justice, respect, tolerance, pluralism, honesty, participation, legitimacy, freedom, equality, and solidarity.

    The value of democracy in society is quite important because it allows all the inhabitants to participate in a certain way in processes that will be of great importance at the national level, that is, the inhabitants have the freedom to give their point of view. 

    When we refer to democracy we refer to the function of a group or country to govern itself through methods that guarantee the collaboration of the inhabitants to freely choose both their form of regime and the leaders that constitute it.

3. Why do you think Latin America is the most unequal region on the planet?

    In a survey, there was a question that said: which social groups are the least compliant with the law? Most put the wealthy and politicians first. Taking this into account we can say that inequality is based on the economic stability of an individual. 

    With so much corruption in Latin America, it is almost impossible for there to be justice, we see this reflected in the unfair wages that people receive. Powerful people usually want more than they have, causing more poverty, which in turn turns into inequality. Even 75% of Latin Americans believe that the distribution of wealth is unfair and that there is no social mobility. Poverty is a consequence of inequality and affects the quality of diet and health care and the possibility of completing education and having access to better job opportunities.
